How to Set Up Secure Email
XQ Secure Email allows you to securely communicate sensitive data with colleagues and third parties, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), sensitive financial information, passwords, etc.
Your data is encrypted before leaving your device and moving to the cloud, which makes it easy for employers to meet data privacy and compliance obligations.
There are three main channels for using XQ Secure Email:
- XQ Dashboard
- Google Chrome Extension
- Outlook Add-in
XQ Dashboard
The XQ Dashboard allows a user to encrypt/decrypt messages and files from our online web portal. It requires no installation. This is the simplest method to use for any parties who do not have existing XQ login credentials.

Gmail Chrome Extension
The chrome extension allows you to encrypt/decrypt messages and files directly from your gmail account. This can be installed directly from the chrome store:
