XQ provides the end-user with all the necessary tools to encrypt data directly at the edge (on your local device) before it is transmitted.

As such XQ doesn’t have any visibility into the data that you are encrypting. The only items we provide storage for are the keys and policies associated with the data.

Lastly, as XQ’s infrastructure is containerized we provide clients that have an increased requirement for security the ability to deploy XQ’s entire backend infrastructure into their infrastructure. This results in the client having full control over the keys and policies as well as taking XQ completely out of the equation.
